Kochi: Actor Maniyanpilla Raju has called for a detailed investigation into the recent allegations emerging from the Malayalam film industry. He expressed concerns that many more revelations are likely to come to light, driven by various interests and motivations.

The actor noted that some persons might exploit the situation to their advantage, seeking money or other benefits, while others who are innocent might also be implicated. He emphasised the need for a comprehensive investigation to address these issues properly and ensure justice.

“Many more accusations are likely to emerge from people with various motives. Some may seek financial gain, while others who didn't receive film opportunities previously might come forward now. A thorough investigation is needed, as WCC points out,” said the actor.

“Both sides should be examined, including any false complaints. As a founding member of AMMA and former vice president, I am unaware of any issues related to payments for membership,” he added.
