The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Aaram’ have unveiled its first look poster, offering audiences an early glimpse into a psychological investigative thriller that promises a blend of crime, suspense and emotional drama.

Backed by Dr Junaise Babu Good Hope under the Good Hope Production & Distribution banner, the film is directed by Rajesh Parameswaran and is slated for a theatrical release across Kerala this September. The release will be handled by Goodfellas Release in association with Rowan Entertainments. 

A story centred on a police investigation

Penned by Vishnu Ramachandran, ‘Aaram’ follows the journey of an upright police officer whose life is turned upside down by a series of unexpected events. As personal dilemmas collide with professional responsibilities, the narrative unfolds into an intense investigation layered with psychological twists and emotional conflict.

Saiju Kurup leads the cast as Circle Inspector Anto Eappen, with the film exploring the challenges faced by a law enforcement officer caught in extraordinary circumstances.

Ensemble cast joins Saiju Kurup

Alongside Saiju Kurup, the film features an extensive ensemble cast including Askar Ali, Siddique, Anju Kurian, Sudheesh, Unnilalu, Ajith Koshy, Manoj KU, Shaheen Siddique, Appunni Sasi, Meera Vasudev, Vaishnavi Kalyani, Surabhi Santhosh, Latha Das, Gokulan, Riyas Narmakala, Jayaraj Warrier, Kabani Saira, Shreya Jayadeep and Eric Adam Good Hope.

Director Rajesh Parameswaran, who has built a reputation through his work in the advertising industry, helms the project, while Vishnu Ramachandran, known for writing Kinavalli, has penned the screenplay.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Jithu Damodar, editor V Sajan and music composer Rohith Gopalakrishnan. The soundtrack features lyrics by Kaithapram, Jis Joy and Joe Paul, with vocals by Hari Charan, Sithara Krishnakumar, Sayanora, Athul Narukara, Yasin Nissar, Ajay Shravan and Aarathi MN Ashwin.
