Los Angeles: Indian-American singer, songwriter, and producer Chandrika Tandon has won a Grammy Award for her album 'Triveni' in the "Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album" category at the 2025 Grammy Awards. This marks her first Grammy victory after previously earning a nomination.

'Triveni,' a remarkable collaboration, features Tandon alongside Grammy-winning South African flutist Wouter Kellerman and Japanese-American cellist Eru Matsumoto. The album merges ancient mantras with the calming sounds of flute and cello, offering a deeply meditative and healing musical experience that bridges cultural boundaries.

Upon accepting the award, Tandon expressed her gratitude, acknowledging that music is love and has the power to ignite the light within all of us, spreading joy and laughter even in our darkest days. She thanked everyone involved in creating and supporting music, wishing that all lives be enveloped in love, light, and laughter.

In addition to her musical achievements, Tandon is a prominent philanthropist, business leader, and humanitarian who champions human happiness through music and education. She has released six albums under Soul Chants Music and performed at renowned venues such as the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and Times Square.
