The makers of ‘Dhoomakethu’ have unveiled the film's second-look poster. The poster features Sajin Gopu, Nikhila Vimal and Ganapathi in the middle of what appears to be a chaotic wedding celebration, with the groom seen removing his mundu and making a run for it.

The film, produced jointly by Happy Hours Entertainments and A & HS Production House, is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide in September.

The new poster seems to hint at the fun and unpredictable nature of ‘Dhoomakethu’. Sajin Gopu is seen as the groom, while Nikhila Vimal and Ganapathi also feature prominently in the artwork.

With the groom suddenly taking off his mundu and running away, while dumbbells and axes appear to be flying around, the poster leaves plenty of room for curiosity about what exactly is unfolding in the film.

The first-look poster had already caught the attention of viewers, particularly for its underwater imagery. Such sequences are relatively uncommon in Malayalam cinema, and the unusual visual helped build interest around the project.

Directed by Sudhi Madison, ‘Dhoomakethu’ features Sajin Gopu, Nikhila Vimal, Shine Tom Chacko and Ganapathi in key roles. Siddharth Bharathan is also part of the cast.

The film brings together a team with considerable experience behind the camera. Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, Sajin Ali and Abbas Thirunavaya are producing the film, while Sonny and Manu have written the screenplay.

Jinto George is handling the cinematography, with Vivek Harshan taking care of the editing. Ankit Menon is composing the music, while Ouseph John is the production designer.

Renganaath Ravee is in charge of audiography, while Mashar Hamsa has designed the costumes. R. G. Wayanadan is the makeup artist and Antony Thomas is the production controller.

Steven Kumar has choreographed the stunt sequences, with Benoy Nambala serving as casting director. Boby Sathyaseelan is the chief associate director and Shoukath Kallus is the finance controller.

Vishnu Sujathan is handling the sound mix. YellowTooths has designed the promotional material, while Serene Babu is responsible for the stills. Vishnu Thandassery and Rohit K. Suresh have worked on the promo stills.

Nishanth S Pillai and Vasudevan VU are the associate directors. Colour Planet Studios is handling DI, while Pictorial VFX and Prolab VFX are working on the visual effects.

Bhavana Release will distribute the film, while Athira Diljith is the PRO.
