Kusha Kapila has rubbished rumours of reconciling with comedian Samay Raina after AI-generated images of the two went viral. The actor also revealed that the fallout from the controversial roast left such a deep impact that she sought therapy to heal.

If the internet loves one thing, it's turning strangers at the same party into 'besties' overnight. Unfortunately for rumour mills, Kusha Kapila isn't buying the script.
The actor and content creator has strongly denied speculation that she has buried the hatchet with comedian Samay Raina after AI-generated photos and edited videos of them began circulating on social media.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Kapila made it clear that the viral visuals were manipulated and insisted there has been no reconciliation.
Calling out those behind the images, she claimed her face had been altered using AI and questioned why anyone would invest time and money into spreading a false narrative.
She also thanked content creator Nikhil Taneja for pointing out that the images were digitally manipulated before the rumours gained momentum.
The social media personality didn't stop there. In another post, she criticised meme pages for continuing to amplify the reconciliation claims and hinted that there was more she could say, but chose not to because of possible legal implications.
Addressing the issue in greater detail, Kapila reflected on the controversy surrounding Ashish Solanki's roast show in 2024, where jokes about her marriage and divorce from Zorawar Ahluwalia triggered widespread debate.
She revealed that she had trusted the creative process while participating in the show but was never given the opportunity to review the script beforehand.
The aftermath, she said, took a serious emotional toll. Kapila disclosed that she blocked both Raina and Solanki after the episode and even sought therapy to cope with the experience, describing it as something that deeply affected her beyond the noise of social media.
She also addressed recent speculation sparked after she and Rana attended singer Jasleen Royal's birthday celebration.
According to Kapila, simply being present at the same event should not be interpreted as proof that old differences have been resolved.
Ending the conversation on a personal note, she urged people to stop turning her healing journey into public entertainment.
She said she neither needs online defenders nor orchestrated narratives, adding that recovery happens at an individual's own pace and asking everyone to allow her the space to move forward privately.
