Kozhikode: Gold recorded its highest daily increase during the last two years. The price of a sovereign of gold increased by Rs 800 to Rs 37,440. Further, a gram of gold now costs Rs 4,680, an increase of Rs 100.
Meanwhile, investors have shifted their focus to gold with signs of Russia looking to invade Ukraine in the coming days. The change in the international market has paved way for the gold price to increase by 35 dollars.
However, gold price remained unchanged on Friday. In the last two days, it increased by only Rs 10 per gram. At the same time, experts predict that gold prices will continue to rise in the coming days.
