
B K Harinarayanan is a popular lyricist in Malayalam film industry. He was born at Kunnamkulam in Thrissur. His debut song was for ‘Killer’, a movie directed by B Unnikrishnan. Harinarayanan became popular as a lyricist after his song ‘Olanjalikkuruvi’ written for the movie ‘1983’ was well-received by audience.
He also has penned over 119 songs for movies like Two Countries, Oppam, The Great Father, CIA, Masterpiece, Mili, Koothara, Pipin Chuvattile Pranayam, Rakshadhikari Baiju, Udhaharanam Sujatha, Madhura Raja, Edakkad Battalion, Thrissur Pooram and Android Kunjappan. He bagged the state award for best lyricist in 2019.
