Hailing from Paluvai of Thrissur, Shoukath Sahajotsu is a writer, orator, traveller and the disciple of Guru Nitya Chaitanya Yati. He had spent about four years serving Nitya Chaitanya Yati in the ashram at Fern Hill in Ooti. At present, he lives in Karamadai near Coimbatore.
He has penned a number of books including Bhakti - Yatiyude Nirvachanam, Daivathinu Oru Thuranna Kathu, Nithyantharangam, Mozhiyazham, Athmavil Ninnum Jeevithathilekku, Snehadaram, Sahajamaya Vazhi, Ramana Maharshi, Nooru Dhyanangal, Kabeer and Jeevitham Paranjath.
He won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for best travelogue for the book โHimalayam - Yathrakalude Oru Pusthakamโ in 2007.
