Benny P Nayarambalam

Noted screen writer in Malayalam. He debuted as a playwright by writing a play for Jubilee Theatres of Rajan P Dev. He wrote his first play ‘Athyunnathangalil Daivathinu Sthuthi’ at the age of 19. He won the state award for best writing in 1994 and for best play in 1996.

He entered film industry by writing story for the movie ‘First Bell’ in 1992. Later, he penned script for many movies including Manthramothiram, Akashaganga, Vazhunnor, Kunjikkoonan, Chanthupottu, Chhota Mumbai, Lollipop and Marykkundoru Kunjad. His elder daughter Anna Ben became an actress through the movie ‘Kumbalangi Nights’.
