Nirjala Ekadashi will be observed on June 25 with devotees undertaking a strict waterless fast.

Nirjala Ekadashi, considered the most sacred and spiritually significant among all Ekadashis, will be observed on June 25 this year.
The festival is marked by a rigorous fast in which devotees abstain from consuming food and even water, making it one of the toughest fasting rituals in Hinduism.
Timing:
According to Drik Panchang, the Ekadashi Tithi begins at 6.12 pm on June 24 and ends at 8.09 pm on June 25.
Since the observance follows the Udaya Tithi, devotees will observe the fast on June 25.
Devotees begin the day with an early morning bath, wear clean clothes, and take a vow to observe the vrat while worshipping Lord Vishnu.
Special prayers, aarti, and devotional activities are performed throughout the day. While many devotees observe a strict waterless fast, those unable to do so for health reasons may consume water and fruits.
Religious beliefs state that there are 24 Ekadashis in a year. However, those unable to observe every Ekadashi can attain the spiritual merit of all 24 fasts by observing Nirjala Ekadashi with devotion and sincerity.
Parana Time
The Parana, or ritual breaking of the fast, will be observed on June 26. Devotees can end their fast between 5.25 am and 8.13 am, as per the prescribed auspicious timing.
Mantra for Nirjala Ekadashi
Devotees are encouraged to chant the sacred Vishnu mantra: "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya"
Chanting this mantra with a Tulsi mala is believed to bring divine blessings, spiritual growth, and inner peace.
Benefits of Observing Nirjala Ekadashi
According to Hindu scriptures, observing Nirjala Ekadashi is believed to bring the same merit as observing all Ekadashi fasts throughout the year.
Devotees seek Lord Vishnu's blessings for prosperity, happiness, and spiritual well-being.
The vrat is also believed to help cleanse past sins, strengthen mental discipline, and promote spiritual progress.
Charity holds special significance on this day, with donations of water, food, fruits, and clothing considered highly auspicious.
