A wedding that drew attention across the country saw billionaire heiress Netra Mantena marry tech entrepreneur Vamsi Gadiraju on November 23 in a grand celebration in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Netra is the daughter of Orlando-based billionaire and Ingenus Pharmaceuticals CEO Rama Raju Mantena, while Vamsi is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Superorder, a New York–based restaurant-tech company. The multi-day festivities were hosted at Udaipur’s historic palaces, with the main ceremony taking place at the picturesque Jagmandir Island Palace on Lake Pichola.

While the star-studded guest list and opulent décor captured attention, it was the wedding cake that became one of the standout highlights. The custom creation was designed by Paris-based luxury cake artist and pastry chef Bastien Blanc-Tailleu, renowned for crafting extravagant confections for elite global clients.

Blanc-Tailleu shared a video of the masterpiece on Instagram, writing:

Yesterday in the city palace of Udaipur, we celebrated the wedding of Netra and Vamsi. #congratulations. With a cake inspired by the Rajasthan architecture and emblematic animals from India. And also with a live performance of @jlo.Like the bride, Jennifer Lopez was wearing a dress made by @eliesaab.What a night…….

The towering multi-tiered cake, finished in a soft white palette, paid tribute to Rajasthani architecture. It featured miniature domes, jharokas and chhatris with intricate carvings, echoing the grandeur of royal palaces and forts. Figures of iconic desert-region animals, including elephants, tigers and peacocks, were seamlessly incorporated without breaking the monochrome aesthetic.

The base of the cake resembled a palace staircase, while delicate floral and leaf motifs added to its regal appeal. Edible silver accents highlighted the attention to detail. Visually striking from every angle, the cake drew admiration online, with many remarking that it looked almost too exquisite to cut.
