Motorola has officially announced that its upcoming smartphone, the Edge 60, will launch in India on June 10. The new device will be available on Flipkart, the brand’s official website, and leading retail outlets. The Edge 60 will expand Motorola’s Edge 60 series, joining the Edge 60 Stylus and Edge 60 Pro as part of its budget-friendly lineup.
Motorola Edge 60 display and performance
The Edge 60 is set to feature a 6.67-inch pOLED quad-curved HDR10+ display, offering a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, coupled with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM (with RAM Boost) and 256GB internal storage. Storage is expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Edge 60 offers a triple rear camera system: a 50MP primary (Sony LYT 700C sensor) with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide lens that also supports macro photography, and a 10MP telephoto lens equipped with autofocus and OIS.
On the front, it houses a 50MP selfie camera capable of recording 4K videos. The rear camera supports 4K UHD recording at 30 fps and full HD at both 60 fps and 30 fps, with slow-motion capture at full HD in 240 fps and 120 fps.

The smartphone packs a 5500mAh battery supported by 68W wired TurboPower charging. It carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and is built with Military Grade Protection Certification (MIL-STD-810H) standards. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i with anti-fingerprint coating & aqua touch adds further durability. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 96.32%.
Motorola Edge 60 security and audio features
Security features include an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock, while the device also incorporates ThinkShield protection. Audio is handled by dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

Out of the box, users will get a USB Type-C cable, user guides, a SIM tool, and a 68W TurboPower charger. The Motorola Edge 60 will be available in two Pantone-certified colour options: Gibraltar Sea and Shamrock.
Motorola Edge 60 OS and software support
The phone will run on Android 15 and comes with a guaranteed upgrade to three more Android versions and four years of security maintenance releases (SMR). It weighs 181g. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, but NFC is not supported.
