Expressing their joy over this global recognition, MK Vimal Govind, the CEO of Genrobotics Innovations stated, "We are thrilled that our innovation is being acknowledged worldwide, and our inclusion on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list is a testament to that. This achievement would inspire young individuals to enter the field and use technology to find solutions to societal challenges.”

“Genrobotics Innovations, established in 2017 in collaboration with the Government of Kerala, has grown to become a renowned robotics company. The state government played a pivotal role in supporting these young entrepreneurs by providing space to establish the company and workshop facilities at Technopark. Hence, this achievement is a matter of deep pride for the state," Industries Minister P Rajiv shared in a Facebook post congratulating Gen Robotics.

Genrobotics, in association with Kerala Startup Mission, introduced the world's first robotic scavenger called 'Bandicoot' in 2018. This innovative technology for cleaning manholes is now being utilised in approximately 18 states across India, three Union Territories, and the ASEAN region. Additionally, through their Robohole project, Genrobotics has transformed the lives of over 3,000 sanitation workers by training them to become skilled robotic operators.

In addition to Bandicoot, Genrobotics has also developed G-Gaiter, a technology that enhances the lives of paralyzed patients. This focus on addressing social issues through technology has earned Genrobotics a well-deserved place on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list. Previously, the founders were also recognized on the 'Forbes India 30 under 30' list.

Joining the founders of Genrobotics on the list are notable individuals like Olympic star Neeraj Chopra, actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, and musician and model Ambika Nayak. In 2022, Gen Robotics also received the prestigious Pride of Kerala Award from Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, further highlighting their outstanding contributions.
