Three Kerala-based banks—Federal, Dhanlaxmi and Kerala Gramin—recognised among the world's top financial institutions by Forbes.

Kochi: Federal Bank, Dhanlaxmi Bank and Kerala Gramin Bank—all headquartered in Kerala—have been featured in Forbes' prestigious annual list of the world's best banks. Out of 368 banks worldwide included in this year's rankings, 22 are from India.
Among the Indian contingent, Federal Bank secured an impressive 7th position. Dhanlaxmi Bank followed at 14th, while Kerala Gramin Bank claimed the 20th spot. HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank topped the list for India, taking the first and second positions respectively.
The rankings were determined through a comprehensive survey conducted in collaboration with prominent market research firm Statista. The study engaged approximately 54,000 participants across 34 countries.
Evaluation criteria included customer satisfaction, trustworthiness, fees and rates, customer service, digital offerings and the quality of financial advice provided.
