
Kozhikode: Young writer K S Ratheesh bagged this year's Litart Story Award comprising a purse of Rs 10,000 and a plaque.
A jury including Haridas Karivallur, PJJ Antony and Dr Jineshkumar Eramom selected the winner.
The story 'Sookshma Jeevikalude Bhoopadam' penned by KS Ratheesh was selected for the award from among over 100 stories that fictionalized the pandemic situation.
Ratheesh is a Malayalam teacher at Neyyar GHSS in Thiruvananthapuram.
As the Covid restrictions are in force, the award ceremony has not been decided yet, Litart executive editor Nidhin VN informed.
