Rupa Rahul Bajaj Scholarship offers up to ₹8 lakh and mentorship for women pursuing core engineering courses

Applications have been invited for the Rupa Rahul Bajaj Scholarship for Women in Engineering, a flagship CSR initiative of Bajaj Auto Limited, instituted under its CSR vision to empower meritorious young women who aspire to excel in the rigorous and transformative fields of core engineering and manufacturing.
It is programmed not merely to act as an instrument of financial aid but as a catalyst for holistic development, offering mentorship, immersive industry engagement, and access to professional networks that inspire ambition and cultivate future-ready skills.
The scholarship aims to nurture confidence and resilience, ensuring that talent is never held back and that potential is given the space to flourish. Anchored in Bajaj Auto's illustrious legacy of engineering excellence, the scholarship represents a merit-driven and aspirational platform created exclusively for women in engineering.
At its core, the programme aspires to cultivate a generation of women who will step into the manufacturing world with purpose and rise as visionary leaders who propel progress, redefine possibilities, and shape the future with imagination.
Eligibility: The scholarship is open only to Indian nationals enrolled in the listed eligible institutions. It is open to meritorious female students who have secured admission to a core BE or B.Tech programme through a recognised competitive examination at one of the 40 listed engineering colleges in the academic year 2025-26. The scholarship applies exclusively to students enrolled in core fields of study, which include mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, industrial and production engineering, automobile engineering, mechatronics, instrumentation, material sciences, and metallurgy. The applicant should have a minimum score of 75% in 12th standard.
Financial Support: Those selected will get up to Rs. 8 lakhs across the duration of the degree program. Beyond the financial support, those selected will get (i) Industry exposure by way of engagement with manufacturing environments and industry visits (ii) Mentorship by way of Guidance from experienced professionals and women leaders (iii) Life Skills Training that will include confidence-building, leadership, and career prep workshops and (iv) Alumni and peer network, for continuous support and collaboration.

Applications can be submitted at the website latest by 31.10.2025. Detailed guidelines for submitting applications are available at the website.
Applications will be reviewed by the scholarship team. Selection will primarily be merit-based, with applicants assessed on their academic performance in 12th Standard and Statement of Purpose (SOP). In cases where applicants demonstrate similar merit, preference may be given to students from less advantaged economic backgrounds and those enrolled in high ranked institutions.
If shortlisted, the applicant may be contacted for further verification before the award is confirmed.
The scholarship amount will be transferred directly to scholars' bank accounts after due verification.
