
The Lady Tata Memorial Trust (LTMT) is now accepting applications for the Young Researcher Award 2025. This prestigious award is designed to recognize young Indian scientists making significant contributions to biological sciences, with a focus on human diseases, blood disorders, and leukemia.
Award details
- Duration: Initial three years, extendable by two years upon review.
- Monthly grant: Rs 25,000.
- Contingency grant: Rs 10 lakhs (for the first two years), Rs 7 lakhs (for the next two years), Rs 5 lakhs (for the fifth year).
Eligibility
- Indian nationals under 40 years of age (as of March 31, 2025).
- PhD in Life Sciences or Master's in Medical Sciences, or equivalent in Biotechnology.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience post-degree.
- Must be working in a research role in an Indian institution.
Application process
- Processing fee: Rs 500
- Submit applications online by 15 February 2025, via LTMT's website.
Selected candidates will be interviewed in June 2025, with the award announced by the end of June.
