Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-Central Institute for Cotton Research (CICR), Regional Station, Coimbatore-641 003, has notified Walk-In-Interview for temporary (contractual) position of Young Professionals.

The interview is to be held at ICAR-Central Institute for Cotton Research (ICAR), Regional Station, Maruthamalai Road, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu -641 003.

For Young Professional-I (Two No.) applicant should hold B.Sc (Agriculture)/ BSc. (Zoology).  Computer knowledge in handling data in MS Office is desirable. Consolidated Pay per month will be Rs. 25,000/-. Interview will be on 11.12.2023 (F.N).

For Young Professional-II (One No.) carrying consolidated Pay of Rs. 35,000/- per month, applicant should hold M.Sc Agricultural Entomology / Life Science / Basic Science.  Agricultural Entomology is a desirable Qualification. Interview will be on 13.12.2023 (F.N).

For Young Professional-II (One No.) with consolidated Pay Rs. 35,000/- per month, applicant should hold M.Sc Agricultural Economics. PhD in Agricultural Economics, Computer knowledge in carrying out econometric data analysis are desirable. Interview will be on 13.12.2023 (F.N).

The minimum age will be 21 and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules as on the date of interview. It is relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC & other exempted categories of candidates as per rules.

These temporary contractual appointments are till 31.03.2024 or even before on the discretion of the Competent Authority. 

Those desirous of attending have to report between 9 am and 9.30 am on the day of interview. They should bring with them the original certificates and photocopy of all the certificates for verification in support of Age, Qualifications, Experience, Caste etc. Employment Exchange Registration Card and one Passport size photograph are to be enclosed with the application while appearing for Walk in Interview. 

Based on the number of candidates appearing, one hour written test / interview will be held as per rules. Candidates without Provisional B.Sc degree certificates for YP I and Provisional MSc Degree Certificate for YP II from the concerned University will not be eligible for Written test/Walk in Interview.
