The NTA conducted the UGC-NET June 2026 examination from June 22 to 30 across 87 subjects.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a re-test for three papers of the UGC-NET June 2026 examination following complaints about several errors in the question papers.
The re-test will cover English, Commerce and Sociology. The agency announced the schedule on Sunday, August 16.

English and Commerce re-test on September 9
The English paper will be conducted on September 9 from 9 am to 12 noon in Shift 1.
The Commerce paper will also be held on September 9, but in Shift 2, from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Sociology paper on September 10
The Sociology paper is scheduled for September 10 from 9 am to 12 noon in Shift 1.
The re-test follows complaints regarding errors in the three papers.
UGC-NET June 2026 examination
