Corrections can be done from 1 December to 11.50 pm on 02 December 2025

National Testing Agency (NTA) will provide facility to applicants of Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2026 Session 1 to make corrections in specified fields in their Online Application Form of JEE Main 2026 Session 1.
Corrections can be done from 1 December to 11.50 pm on 02 December 2025. Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances.
The fields in which corrections can be made and the fields in which corrections ae not permitted are given in the Annexure to the Notification dated 20 November 2025, at https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
Changes not allowed
Candidates shall not be allowed to change (i) Mobile Number(ii) E-mail Address (iii) Address (Permanent and Present) (iv) Emergency Contact details (v) Photograph of candidate.
Changes allowed
Candidates shall be allowed to change any one of the fields: (i) Candidate Name (ii) Father Name (iii)Mother Name.
Candidates shall be allowed to change all the fields: (i) Class 10th/equivalent details (ii) Class 12th/equivalent details (iii) State Code of Eligibility
Candidates shall be allowed to change (i) Examination City selection based on their Permanent and Present addresses (NTA has clarified that NTA is not bound to follow the choices given by the candidate) and (ii) Medium of the examination
Candidates shall be allowed to change all the fields: (i) Date of Birth (ii) Gender (iii) Category (iv) Sub- category/PwD (if not verified by UDID Portal) (v) Signature.
Candidates shall be allowed to add the field ‘Paper’
Candidates shall be allowed to change identity details (Only for candidates who registered with identity other than Aadhaar): Aadhaar details
All the registered candidates may visit https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/, verify their particulars and make corrections if any in their particulars, if required.
If there is an impact on the fee on account of changes made, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.
Correction in the fields modified will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if any. Once the corrections are done and submitted, the form shall be frozen.
Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship, candidates should do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be given to the candidates.
Last date for submission of online application for JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 is 27th November 2025. There will be no further extension of date.
