New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday announced the results of the NEET-UG 2025 medical entrance exam, revealing that over 12.36 lakh students have qualified.

Uttar Pradesh topped the state-wise list with the highest number of qualifying candidates, followed by Maharashtra. Candidates can now access their scorecards on the official website — neet.nta.nic.in — using their login credentials.

Among individual performances, Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan secured the All India Rank 1, while Utkarsh Awadhiya from Madhya Pradesh ranked second. Delhi’s Avika Aggarwal emerged as the top-ranking female candidate, securing the fifth position nationwide.

The NEET UG 2025 exam saw participation from over 24 lakh aspirants. With 12.36 lakh qualifying, the overall success rate stands slightly above 51%, as per initial estimates. Candidates can now download their scorecards via the official NTA portal.

These results mark a critical step toward admissions into MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical programmes. Counselling dates by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and state authorities are expected to be announced shortly.
