The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026 on September 24.

Candidates who appeared for the postgraduate medical entrance examination can now check their results and download their scorecards through the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in.

Candidates will need to log in using their credentials to access their NEET PG 2026 result.

How to check NEET PG 2026 result

Candidates can follow these steps to download their result:

  1. Visit the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in.
  2. Click on the NEET PG 2026 result link available on the homepage.
  3. Enter the required login credentials.
  4. Click on the Submit button.
  5. The NEET PG 2026 result will appear on the screen.
  6. Download the result and keep a copy for future reference.
  7. NEET PG 2026 exam and re-examination

The NEET PG 2026 examination was conducted on August 30, 2026.

However, NBEMS subsequently held a re-examination on September 5 for candidates who were affected by technical disruptions caused by a power outage at an examination centre in Jaipur.

According to data shared by NBEMS, 2,63,544 candidates appeared for the examination on August 30, while 2,416 candidates appeared in the re-examination conducted on September 5.

The results announced on September 24 take into account the candidates who appeared in the respective examination sessions.

NEET PG 2026 qualifying cut-off

  • General/EWS: Minimum qualifying requirement is the 50th percentile, with a cut-off score of 262 out of 720.
  • General PwBD: Minimum qualifying requirement is the 45th percentile, with a cut-off score of 244 out of 720.
  • SC/ST/OBC, including PwBD candidates from these categories: Minimum qualifying requirement is the 40th percentile, with a cut-off score of 226 out of 720. These qualifying criteria apply for admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB Direct 6-Year Courses and PG Medical Diploma courses.
  • SC/ST/OBC, including PwBD: Minimum qualifying requirement is the 40th percentile, with a cut-off score of 226 out of 720.
