The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the revised schedule for various activities related to the third round and stray vacancy round allotment to postgraduate medical courses (MD/MS/Diploma/DNB) based on NEET-PG 2025 being conducted by MCC and states.

Candidates who have become eligible to participate in PG Medical counselling consequent on the revision in the eligibility percentile score needed to participate in NEET PG 2025 counselling can also take part in the allotment process now.

As per the revised schedule for MCC Round 3, the new registration facility (if applicable) will be available at https://mcc.nic.in till 12 noon on 26th January, 2026. The payment facility will be available up to 3 pm on 26th January, 2026.

The Choice Filling facility for Round 3 will be open from 16th January, 2026, to 11.55 pm on 26th January, 2026.

Choice Locking can be done from 4 pm on 26th January, 2026, up to 11.55 pm on 26th January, 2026.

The result of Round 3 will be announced on 29th January, 2026. Those getting an allotment must report and join the allotted institution between 30th January, 2026 and 6th February, 2026.

The MCC Stray Vacancy round will be between 10th February 2026 and 18th February 2026.

The last date of joining will be 28th February, 2026.

The list of allotted candidates will be shared by MCC with states on 18.02.2026

In respect of State PG Medical Counselling, activities related to the 3rd round will be between 27th January, 2026 and 7th February, 2026. The last date of joining based on State Round 3 will be 13th February, 2026.

The state stray vacancy round will be between 16th February 2026 and 20th February 2026. The last date of joining will be 28th February, 2026.

The PwD portal for the generation of PwD certificates for Round 3 of PG Counselling 2025 is active now and available up to 5 pm on 24.01.2026. PwD candidates can visit the designated disability centres of MCC for obtaining a PwD certificate as per their eligibility specified by NMC norms.
