The admission window for the Kerala HSCAP Plus One first allotment closes today, June 17, at 5 pm, with over 1.38 lakh applicants already securing their seats across the state.

Haripad (Kerala): The window for securing admissions under the first allotment for Kerala Plus One (Higher Secondary Class 11) will officially close on Wednesday at 5.00 pm. Education officials have strictly reminded applicants that reporting to their allotted school before this deadline is mandatory to remain in the admission process.
According to data compiled on Tuesday evening, a total of 1,38,071 students have already processed their admissions across the state. Out of these, 88,597 students have opted for permanent admission, while 49,474 students have taken temporary admission.
Crucial guidelines for candidates
To avoid disqualification from subsequent rounds, students must adhere to the following seat acceptance rules.
- First option allottees: Candidates who received their absolute first-choice school and course option must secure a permanent admission today by paying the required fees.
- Lower option allottees: Candidates who received any option lower than their first choice have two choices. They can either opt for a permanent admission or secure a temporary admission without paying a fee to keep their higher preferences active for future allotment rounds.
- Mandatory reporting: Anyone who has been allotted a seat but fails to report for either permanent or temporary admission by 5 pm on Wednesday will be permanently removed from the HSCAP system and will not be considered for any further allotments.
- Multi-district applicants: Students who applied to more than one district and received allotments can choose their preferred district on Wednesday. Once admitted to that district, all allotments in other districts will automatically be canceled.
