Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala has invited online options for the Mop Up Allotment for admission to Engineering and Architecture Courses in the Government/Aided Engineering/ Architecture colleges for the year 2022-23. 

The Mop-Up allotment is conducted for filling the vacancy existing in Government/Aided Engineering and Architecture colleges. 

Those who have figured in the rank list published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and satisfy the eligibility criteria as per Clause 6 in the KEAM 2022 Prospectus can participate in the Mop Up allotment and submit options at www.cee.kerala.gov.in latest by 10 am on 19.10.2022. 

Results of Mop Up Allotment will be announced on 20.10.2022 and those allotted have to join the allotted colleges by 4 pm on 22.10.2022. 

Those candidates who wish to register options in the Mop Up allotments will have to remit registration fee of Rs.2000/- to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC category and those having benefits as per GO (Ms) No.25/2005/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005 and GO (Ms) No.10/2014/BCDD dated 23.05.2014 and those candidates from Juvenile Home are exempted from Mop Up registration fee. 

The registration fee can be paid online or through post offices. For candidates who have already paid any type of fee to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations either for registration/admission for any of the courses under KEAM 2022 will have to pay the fresh Mop Up registration fee as specified above. If such a candidate gets allotment, the registration fee will be adjusted to the course fee. The registration fee of those candidates who do not get allotment in the mop of allotment will be refunded. The registration fee of those candidates who do not join within the stipulated time after getting an allotment and those candidates who quit seats after taking admission through Mop Up allotment will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded. 

Those who got admission in Government/Aided /Private Self-financing and Government Cost-sharing colleges in the previous phases, those who have not taken admission after allotment, those who have obtained Transfer Certificate after admission and those who have not yet received any allotment can participate in this Mop Up Allotment process. 

However, the allotment/admission of those candidates who have already taken an admission or will take admission before 3 pm on 19.10.2022, in any of the Private Self-financing Engineering and Architecture colleges, will be subject to the orders of the Government in this regard. Those candidates who have already been admitted or take admission before 3 pm on 19.10.2022, in a Government/Aided college/course, will lose the existing admission if they get an allotment through this Mop Up allotment. 

The options given by the candidates for previous allotments will not be considered for Online Mop up allotment.

The vacancies, if any, remaining in Engineering and Architecture courses in Government/Aided colleges after 5 pm on 22.10.2022 shall be filled up through further Online Mop-Up allotment, if any, by considering the same options registered by the candidates for this Online Mop Up round. Candidates should take utmost care while registering the options as no facility for re-arrangement or deletion of options will be available in the subsequent Mop Up allotments, if any.
