The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 on 18th December 2025 at various examination Centres located in different cities across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

As per the information published in the Information Bulletin and Public Notice, it has been decided to provide an opportunity to make corrections online in the particulars of their respective Application Forms of Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025.

Corrections in the Particulars Fields as per Annexure 1 of the Notification dated 29.10.2025 of NTA can be made up to 11.50 pm on 01 November 2025. Thereafter, no correction in particulars will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances.

Candidates shall not be allowed to change: (i) Mobile Number (ii) E-Mail address (iii) Address (Permanent and Present). Candidates shall be allowed to change any of these fields (i) Candidate Name (ii) Father's Name (iii) Mother's Name (iv) Photograph - Image Upload (v) Signature - Image Upload (vi) Graduation Details (vii) Post-Graduation Details (viii) Date of Birth (ix) Gender (x) Category (xi) Sub-category / PwBD.

Candidates shall be allowed to change examination cities based on their permanent and present addresses, filled earlier during the registration period (all 04 preferences).

The option to edit the subject will be available during the correction period.

If there is an impact on the fee on account of correction, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable. In case of a change in category or PwBD, if there is an impact on the fee amount, then the candidate will be charged an additional fee as applicable. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned through credit/debit card/net banking/UPI. Excess payment, if any, made will not be refunded. Final correction shall be applicable only after payment of the additional fee, if applicable. Once the corrections are done and submitted, the form shall be frozen.

All the registered candidates for the examination may visit https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/ and verify their particulars and make correction(s) in their particulars in their respective application form, if required.

Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them, candidates may do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be given.
