Students waiting for the Central Board of Secondary Education Class 12 board examination results may not have to wait much longer, with reports suggesting the CBSE Class 12 result 2026 could be announced this week.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet officially confirmed the exact date and time for the declaration of Class 12 results.
However, multiple reports suggest the results are likely to be released soon, with speculation pointing to May 8 as a possible date.

Once announced, students will be able to check their results online through the official CBSE result portals.
The Class 12 board examinations were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026 across India and abroad.

Students can also access their digital marksheets through the UMANG mobile application.
How to check CBSE Class 12 result online
To download the CBSE Class 12 scorecard:
- Visit the official CBSE result website
- Click on the “CBSE Class 12 Result 2026” link
- Enter roll number, registration number and date of birth
- Submit the details
- The marksheet will appear on the screen
- Download and save the PDF copy
- Take a printout for future reference

No press conference expected
According to reports, the CBSE is not expected to hold a press conference while announcing the results this year.

Students are advised to keep their admit cards and login credentials ready to avoid last-minute delays while checking results.
