New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) will release the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 admit cards on November 5 via the official website, iimcat.ac.in. Candidates who successfully completed the application process can download their admit cards using their login credentials.
The registration window for CAT 2025 closed on September 20, and the computer-based examination is set to be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025. The results are expected to be announced in the first week of January 2026.
According to the official CAT notice, the CAT 2025 serves as a mandatory entrance test for admission to Postgraduate and Fellow/Doctorate programmes at various Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). In addition, CAT scores are accepted by several non-IIM member institutions across India.
A complete list of such participating institutions will be published on the CAT website after the examination. However, the IIMs have no involvement in the admission process of these non-IIM institutes, the notification clarified.
The exam will be conducted in around 170 cities across the country. Candidates were allowed to select up to five preferred cities during registration. The final list of test centres is subject to change at the discretion of the CAT authorities.
