
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune; has invited applications for various positions under the project titled “CARE: Communicating Action and Resilience for Environmental Health” Project Code: 33824737 funded by Private Agency.
Positions and Minimum Educational Qualification are as follows:
Project Manager (Part-Time): Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Journalism / Science Communication or related fields. Experience- Minimum 5 years of work experience in project / donor, preferably in environmental health.
Preference: Those having following skills and aptitude will be preferred: (i) High level of organizational and project management skills (ii) Experience and strategic oversight into Community Environment Monitoring (CEM) based projects and public communication (iii) Experience in donor reporting and stakeholder engagement (iv) Proficiency in English and Hindi (working knowledge) (v) Proven ability to work independently and as part of teams (vi) Proven ability to meet deadlines and project goals
Consolidated emoluments per month will be Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 63,000/, based on skills, experience/s and project requirement.
Program Associate (Part-Time) [Job Location Kerala, will involve travel as per project needs]: Bachelors / Master’s degree in Public health or related areas. Experience: Minimum 4 years of work experience in project / donor, in environmental health.
Preference: Those having following skills and aptitude will be preferred: (i) Proficiency in English and Malayalam (spoken and written) (ii) Minimum 4 years of experience in public health policy, with prior projects in Kerala (iii) Strong networks and experience within the public health sector and government departments in Kerala (iv) Experience in climate vulnerability assessments and documentation (v) Good communication and people’s skills (vi) Ability to meet deadlines and project goals
Consolidated emoluments per month will be Rs. 52,000/- to Rs. 55,000/-, based on skills, experience/s and project requirement.
Program Associate (Part-Time) [Job Location - Chhattisgarh (Will involve travel as per project needs)]: - Bachelors / Master’s degree in Sociology / Social work / Development Studies or related fields. Experience- Minimum 4 years work experience in project / donor, preferably in environmental health.
Preference: Those having following skills and aptitude will be preferred: (i) Proficiency in English, Hindi and Chhattisgarhi (ii) Minimum 4 years of experience in environmental and public health policy, with prior projects in Chhattisgarh (iii) Strong networks and experience within the public health sector and government departments in Chhattisgarh. Proven experience in community based environmental monitoring (iv) Proven ability in project documentation (technical, narrative, etc.) (v) Good communication and people’s skills (vi) Ability to meet deadlines and project goals
Consolidated emoluments per month: Rs. 52,000/- to Rs. 55,000/-, based on skills, experience/s and project requirement.
For all positions, age as on last date of application should not be more than 40 years. Age relaxation commensurate with educational qualification/s and / or experience/s of the applicant may be considered for those having qualification and experience higher than the advertised, with the prior approval of the competent authority.
Tenure of the appointment: Initially for a period of 6 months, extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.
