ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science (IISS), Nabibagh, Berasia Road, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh-462 038, has announced a walk-in interview for a senior research fellow position in the project titled, ‘Assessment of Carbon Stocks in the Wetland Ecosystems of Sakhya Sagar, Shivpuri and Tawa Reservoir, Narmadapuram’.

Essential qualification: Applicant should hold an M.Sc. in Soil Science/Soil Chemistry & Fertility/Soil Chemistry/Agronomy/Chemistry/Environmental Science/Microbiology with 4/5 years of Bachelor's Degree. Those having postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with a 3-year bachelor’s degree and a 2-year master’s degree must have NET/GATE qualification

Desirable: Knowledge and experience in the analysis of soil, water and plant samples.

Emoluments: Rs. 37000/- per month + HRA
