The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India, has announced the recruitment of one Consultant (MIS) under the Green Credit Programme (GCP). The position is based in Dehradun, and the contract duration is initially two years, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

The Consultant (MIS) will play a vital role in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the web portal for the Green Credit Programme. The key responsibilities include overseeing data management, generating reports, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of GCP data, and supporting the achievement of programme objectives. The consultant will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the performance of the portal and processes.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or MCA from a recognized university. A Master's in Technology (M.Tech) is desirable.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience in web portal development and MIS maintenance.
    • Proficiency in NodeJS, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and database management.
    • Experience in data analysis and report preparation.

Remuneration and Benefits:

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹80,000 per month. Travel expenses for project-related work will be reimbursed as per government norms. However, no other perks or benefits will be provided.
