
Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (CTCRI) under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Srekariyarn Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala- 695 017, has notified Walk-in-Written Examination and Interview for Skill Development Training to Scheduled Caste (SC) youths under Scheduled Castes Sub Plan - SCSP (Institute) project.
Details of training and eligibility are as follows: (i) Hands-on training on mass production / multiplication of biocontrol agents: B. Sc. degree in Botany/ Agriculture, Horticulture /Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/ any other allied subjects (ii) Hands-on training on quality planting material production in tuber crops: B. Sc. degree in Botany/ Agriculture, Horticulture / allied subjects.
Age of applicants should be 18 to 35 years for both.
There is 1 vacancy for each Program. Duration of the training will be 180 days, which is extendable for another 6 months’ subject to satisfactory skill acquisition and fund availability. Monthly stipend would be Rs. 15000/-.
The above trainings are exclusively for Scheduled Caste (SC) Youths only. There is no provision for re-employment after termination of the training.
The written test and interview will be held at ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute, Sreekariyam, Thiruvananthapuram-695017 at 10 am on 04th March 2025.
Those interested may attend the interview on the notified date and time. They should bring their curriculum vitae with one photograph and self-attested photocopy of certificates on the date of Walk-in-interview along with original certificates in support of qualification, age & experience for verification. No objection certificate is required from the employer in case he/she is employed elsewhere.
