ITI Trade Apprentice Vacancies are for the following Trades: Electrician - 42, Fitter - 32, Welder - 42, Machinist - 8, Electronic Mechanic -13, Instrument Mechanic -12, Draughtsman (Mechanical) - 6, Draughtsman (Civil) - 4, Painter (General) / Painter (Marine) - 8, Mechanic Motor Vehicle - 10, Sheet Metal Worker - 42, Ship Wright Wood / Carpenter/ Wood Work Technician - 18, Mechanic Diesel - 10, Pipe Fitter / Plumber - 32, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic / Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician -1, Marine Fitter – 20.

Eligibility: Pass in 10th standard, Pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate - NTC) in any one of the trades mentioned in the table of Para I - A of the Notification at https://cochinshipyard.in/Careers 

Technician (Vocational) Apprentice Vacancies are for the following Trades: Accounting & Taxation/Accounts Executive - 1, Customer Relationship Management / Office Operation Executive - 2, Electrical & Electronic Technology / Electrician Domestic Solution -1, Food & Restaurant Management / Craft Baker - 3, Basic Nursing and Palliative Care /General Duty Assistant -1 

Eligibility: Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) in the concerned discipline (Refer Table I – B of the Notification).

General conditions for both categories: Applicant shall be a domicile of Kerala with minimum 18 years of age as on 04.10.2023. Physical Standards must be as prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992, and the amendments thereof, if any. 

Reservation: Reservation shall be applicable as per Government of India Rules.
