Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) - Certral Tuber Crops Research Institute (CTCRI), Sreekariyam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala-695 011, has announced Walk-in-Written Examination and Interview for Skill Development Training to Scheduled Caste (SC) youths under Scheduled Castes Sub Plan - SCSP (Institute) project as per the details given below.

Training Titles and eligibility are as follows

(i) Hands-on training on Value addition and processing technologies of tuber crops-  B.Sc Food Science and quality control OR B- Tech Food Technology/ Engineering or equivalent (ii) Cassava pollination, nursery & field management, data collection and analysis-  B.Sc degree and above(in Life Science, Chemistry, Agriculture, Horticulture/ Biotechnology) (iii) Hitech cultivation of vegetable crops- Diploma or Degree in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ mechatronics/mechanical or equivalent.

Applicants should be between 18- 35 years of age. 

There is 1 vacancy in each Training Title. The duration of each is 180 days. Monthly Stipend would be Rs. 15000/-. 

The above training is purely for Scheduled Caste (SC) youths only. There is no provision for re-employment after termination of the training. The detailed Notification is available at https://www.ctcri.org/ (Careers Link)

The written test and interview will be held at ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute, Sreekariam, Thiruvananthapuram-695017 at 10 am on 20th November 2024. 

Those interested in the positions may attend the interview. They should bring original certificates proving age, caste and educational qualification, one set of self-attested photocopies of degree certificates, cast certificate and experience certificate if applicable and the latest photograph along with filled in application as per the Proforma available with the Notification at https://www.ctcri.org/, at the time of Interview.

No objection certificate from the employer has to be produced in case he/she is employed elsewhere.
