The Department of Civil Engineering, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, has invited applications for admission to the MBA in Advance Construction Management for the batch starting July 2026.

The Programme is curated with hands-on experience for future industry readiness and shall help to enhance the technical & managerial skill sets, interdisciplinary exposure, industry relevance, leadership opportunities, etc. The Programme will help to lead complex projects with strategic precision. It has an industry-relevant curriculum and strong industry support for internships and placements. The curriculum covers construction planning & management, procurement & contract management, and digital construction engineering management. The programme will have teaching/learning/tutorials for 3 semesters & industrial internship/dissertation for 1 semester.

Eligibility: Applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology in the core domain of civil/mechanical/electrical or a bachelor of architecture with a 6.5 CGPA or 60% for the general, OBC, and EWS categories and a 6.0 CGPA or 55% for the SC, ST, and PwD categories.

Selection Process: All applications will undergo initial screening for eligibility based on the minimum academic and professional requirements. The list of eligible candidates will be displayed online on the VNIT official website. The eligible candidates will be assessed through the VNIT Management Aptitude Test (VMAT), a written test conducted by VNIT in offline mode through a 100-mark entrance process, which includes a 60-mark MCQ-based written test and a 40-mark personal interview. The written test will cover basics of engineering subjects like engineering mechanics, mechanics of solids, engineering drawing, project planning and management, engineering economics, quantitative analytical ability, data interpretation, verbal ability, and general ability. The combined performance in both the MCQ test and the personal interview will be used for screening and further selection.

The course fee is Rs. 1 lakh per semester (total fees for 4 semesters will be 4 lakhs).

Application: Applications can be submitted online at https://vnit.ac.in/mba-acm/ by 13th February 2026. The hardcopy of the application is to be submitted in person or sent by speed/registered post to the Institute.

On completion of filling the online application form, the submitted application form must be printed with all uploaded documents.

All the pages of the printed application form, the fee receipt of the application fee of Rs. 3540/- and all supporting documents must be sent/submitted to ‘The Academic Section, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, South Ambazari Road, Nagpur, Maharashtra – 440010’ in an envelope superscribed as ‘Application for admission to MBA in Advance Construction Management’ to reach latest by 20th February 2026.

Dates of other activities are as follows: Written test – 7th March 2026; Personal Interview – 8th March 2026; Declaration of Results – 15th March 2026; Fees submission, document verification, and confirmation of allocation of seat – 11th May 2026; Waiting list will be operated if required on 15th May 2026.

The course commences on 21st July 2026.
