The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), a Central University; Hyderabad, Telangana State, having Regional Campuses at Shillong and Lucknow, has invited applications for admissions to UG Programmes 2023-24.

EFLU uses the CUET UG scores for admissions to various B.A. (Hons./Research) programmes.

UG B.A. (Hons. /Research) Programmes offered at different campuses are as follows:

Hyderabad: English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Performance Arts Humanities, Digital Communication. Intake for English is 40 and for others, it is 20 each.

Shillong: English, Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC). Each has an intake of 20.

Lucknow: English (intake 20).

Eligibility: Applicant should have a pass in the Intermediate/10+2 examination or its equivalent, with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PwBD category candidates), with English as one of the subjects. Those pursuing the qualifying programme mentioned above, are also eligible provided they pass the examination by the time of the admission, scoring the minimum eligibility marks prescribed.

The cut-off marks for the entrance tests for admission to all undergraduate programmes will be as follows: Unreserved/ OBC creamy layer/ KM/ WDP -50%; OBC Non-Creamy Layer -45%; SC/ ST/ PwBD -30%.

Application: Application can be submitted online at https://eflucuet.samarth.edu.in/ latest by 31.7.2023. Registration Fee is as follows: General/ OBC/ WDP/ KM- Rs. 500/-; SC/ ST - Rs. 250/-; PwBD -Rs. 100/-

One can apply for a maximum of two programmes only. If a candidate is provisionally selected to both the programmes, the candidate is restricted to choose any one programme. Once the provisional admission is offered, he/she is not entitled to change the programme under any circumstances whatsoever.
