
School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPAV), has announced the Spot Round - I to fill vacancies arisen out of Direct Admissions for the Post Graduate Programmes under various specializations of Architecture and Planning for the Academic Year 2023-24.
Courses and eligibility are as follows:
Department of Architecture (a) Master of Architecture (Sustainable Architecture) (b) Master of Architecture (Landscape Architecture) (c) Master of Architecture (Architectural Conservation) (d) Master of Building Engineering and Management (e) Master of Urban Design
Eligibility (Qualifying Degree): (a) Sustainable Architecture: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (b) Landscape Architecture: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (c) Architectural Conservation: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (d) Master of Urban Design: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (e) Master of Building Engineering and Management: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or B.E or B.Tech (Civil Engineering / Building & Construction Technology / Construction Engineering & Management / Construction Technology & Management).
Department of Planning (a) Master of Planning (Environmental Planning and Management) (b) Master of Planning (Urban and Regional Planning) (c) Master of Planning (Transport Planning)
Eligibility (Qualifying Degree): (a) Environmental Planning and Management: Bachelor’s Degree in Planning / Architecture or B.E (Civil Engineering) or B.Tech (Civil Engineering / Planning) or Master’s Degree in Geography / Economics / Sociology (b) Urban and Regional Planning: Bachelor’s Degree in Planning / Architecture or B.E (Civil Engineering) or B.Tech (Civil Engineering / Planning) or Master’s Degree in Geography / Economics / Sociology (c) Transport Planning: Bachelor’s Degree in Planning / Architecture or B.E or B.Tech (Civil Engineering / Planning) or Master’s Degree in Economics / Statistics / Operations Research.
For admission to all the PG programmes, applicant must have a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale/equivalent or 60% marks (55% marks/CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-Point scale/equivalent for SC/ST/PH candidates).

An applicant can register online for any number of PG programmes offered. Application Fee per course is Rs. 2,000/- (Rs. 1,000/- for SC/ST/PH categories) to be paid online. If an applicant is applying to multiple PG Programmes, he/she should register separately for each, pay separate fee for each application & enclose the proof of payment while registering for the SPOT Round-I. There is no need for send the application form or supporting documents to SPAV in advance, by post or email.
Last Date for Registration for Spot Round I (to be done online with registration fee payment transaction details) is 2nd August 2023.
The application form is available on SPAV Website under Admissions section https://spav.ac.in/spavadmissions.html, which needs to be downloaded, duly filled, signed and brought physically in person, with self-attested copies of required supporting documents.
