Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TNVASU) has invited applications for admission to Postgraduate Degrees (MVSc, MTech, MSc, PhD) and PG Diploma Programmes of the University for the academic year 2023-24.

Eligibility: MVSc degree programmes: Applicant should possess BVSc / BVSc & AH degree from VCI recognised College. 

M.Tech (Food Technology in Processing Technology / Food Technology in Processing Engineering / Food Technology in Safety and Quality): BTech (FPT / FT) degree or should have studied a four year degree programme such as B.Tech in Food Processing Technology / Food Technology / Food Process Engineering / Dairy Technology/ Biotechnology 

MTech (Dairy Technology / Dairy Chemistry): BTech (DT) degree of Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University or should have studied a four-year degree programme in Dairy Technology 

MTech (Poultry Technology): BTech (PT) or should have studied a four-year degree programme in Poultry Technology /Poultry Production Technology.

MSc Biotechnology: Bachelor degree in Biotechnology /Molecular Biology / Gene Technology / Animal Biotechnology (General stream, 3 years programme) / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Environmental Sciences / Genetics / Marine Biology and Fisheries Sciences / other Life Sciences.

PhD Degree Programmes are offered in (i) Veterinary & Animal Sciences (ii) Food Technology and (iii) Biotechnology 

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes (Two Semesters): (i) Companion Animal Practice (ii) Dairy Processing and Quality System (iii) Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Medicine (iv) Molecular Bio techniques.

Details of the share of seats available for the candidates from Tamil Nadu and seats reserved for candidates to be selected through ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for the different programs is given in the Prospectus.

Application: Applications can be submitted online at https://adm.tanuvas.ac.in or https://tanuvas.ac.in latest by 5 pm on 15.11.2023. Separate application has to be submitted for MVSc, PhD, MTech, MSc (Biotechnology) and PG Diploma. 

Application fee of Rs.600 /- for SC & ST and Rs.1200/- for other candidates for each application has to be paid online using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking.
