All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Phulwarisharif, Patna – 801501, has notified the admission to Post-Doctoral Fellowship Courses -2024

Applications have been invited for appearing in the entrance examination to be held for the selection of candidates for the newly started 2 - years Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) Course.

The disciplines, seat availability and eligibility are as follows: (i) Critical Care Medicine (2 seats) - MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology (ii) Neuro-anaesthesiology (2 seats)- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology (iii) Paediatric Anaesthesia (2 seats) - MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology (iv) Paediatric Critical Care (1 seat)- MD/DNB in Paediatrics  (v) Neuro and Vascular Interventional Radiology(2 seats) - MD/DNB in Radio diagnosis (vi) Neurotology and skull base Surgery (1 seat)- MS/DNB in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) (vii) Lower Limb arthroplasty (1 seats) - MS/DNB in Orthopedics (viii)Neonatal Surgery (1 seat) - MCh/DNB in Paediatrics Surgery.

All degrees or equivalent should be recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

There is no upper age limit.

Applicant must complete the requisite qualification, degree, and tenure by 31.07.2024.

Selection will be based on online Examination to be held at AIIMS Patna on 30.06.2024. The test of 120 minutes’ duration will have 100 Multiple choice questions with single best response carrying maximum of 100 Marks. Each correct answer will get 1 mark and each incorrect response will result in loss of one-third (-1/3) mark. Candidate must secure 50th percentile mark to be eligible for admission.

Application has to be submitted online latest by 5 pm on 10.06.2024. Those who are in Government service must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the competent authority at the time of counselling.
