Applications have been invited for admission to the Master of Science in Audiology (M.Sc. Aud) and Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology (M.Sc. SLP) for the academic year 2023-24.
The course of study including the dissertation, shall be over a period of 2 years and should be completed within 4 years from the date of admission.
MSc Audiology is offered at National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH), Thiruvananthapuram and Marthoma College of Special Education, Kasaragod. MSc Speech Language Pathology is offered at National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH), Thiruvananthapuram and AWH Special College, Calicut. These courses are recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold a Bachelor degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology or B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) degree from a RCI approved institute affiliated to any recognized University and recognised by Kerala University of Health Science as equivalent thereto, with internship completion certificate as per university norms. Applicant should have secured minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for SEBC/SC/ST), considering all the years/semesters of the qualifying examination.
There is no age limit for admission to the courses. Applicants should satisfy the minimum requirements for admission before the last date fixed for submission of application (15.3.2024).
All the seats will be allocated based on rank list prepared, based on the marks secured in BASLP or B.Sc Speech and Hearing degree of any University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences as equivalent.

Application Fee: Application fee will be Rs. 1200/- (Rs. 600/- for SC /ST candidates). The amount may be paid online or at any branch of Federal Bank by using the challan that can be downloaded during submission of online application.
The Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology will prepare the rank list of Candidates. The Centralized Allotment Process for all Merit seats will be through a Single Window System (SWS). The allotment to various colleges will be done by the Director, LBS Centre. The Allotments will be strictly based on the options exercised by the candidate, the rank lists prepared by the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, eligible reservation(s) of the candidate and availability of seats.
