Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, has invited applications for admission to the Post Graduate Medical (MD/MS) Programmes for the July 2020 session.
Eligibility: Applicant must have passed MBBS from a University/ Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and should complete, one year rotatory internship training on or before 30th June, 2020. Applicant must be registered with Central /State Medical Registration Council. The eligibility of Sponsored candidates will be the same as for other candidates.
Indian National applicants who have been graduated from foreign Universities must have passed the MCI Screening Exam or FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduates Examination) exam conducted by NBE, Govt. of India, Delhi.
Selection: Selection to the Programmes will be based on an Entrance Examination to be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) from 9 am to 12 noon on 23rd May, 2020 (Saturday) at Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Chandigarh-Tricity, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jalandhar, Jammu, Kolkata, Madurai, Mumbai, Noida, Patna, Thiruvananthapuram. The test will have 250 multiple choice question (MCQs). Applicant has to score the category-wise minimum cut-off percentile in entrance test to qualify for admission: Open (General)/ OCI and Sponsored/Deputed: 55th percentile; OBC, PwBD, SC/ST: 50th percentile
Application: Applications can be submitted at the link at http://pgimer.edu.in, latest by 16.4.2020.
Application Fee for is Rs.1500/-. For SC/ST Category, it will be Rs. 1200/-. The fee has to be paid using Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking. Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities (PwBD) Candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Results are expected to be declared by 2.06.2020.

Tuition fee is Rs.250/- per annum.
