Distance Education Department, National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Nagarabhavi, Bengaluru-560072, has invited applications for admission to various Programmes being offered by the Institute through distance learning mode for the Academic Year 2020-2021.
Post Graduate Diploma Programmes of 1 year duration are offered in (i) Human Rights Law (PGDHRL) (ii) Medical Law & Ethics (PGDMLE) (iii) Environmental Law (PGDEL) (iv) Intellectual Property Rights Law (PGDIPRL) (v) Child Rights Law (PGDCRL) (vi) Consumer Law & Practice (PGDCLP) and (vii) Cyber Law & Cyber Forensics (PGDCLCF).
The Institute also offers Master of Business Laws Programme (MBL) of 2 years duration.
For all Programmes, Graduates of any discipline from any UGC recognised University is eligible to apply.
These courses are conducted in a blended learning format with online and in-person classes using multimedia course material.

Application fee is Rs. 1500/-. Applicants are also required to pay a one-time admission fee of Rs. 2500/-. For the admissions process to be completed, the application, admission, and tuition fee must be paid. The tuition fee for each course is given with the application form. Those opting for receiving printed programme study material, will have to pay an additional fee as notified. All payments are to be made by way of DD drawn in favour of NLSIU, DED Courses payable at Bengaluru.
One can register for more than one programme simultaneously, by submitting separate application for each programme. In case of an examination schedule conflict wherein two programmes have an examination at the same time, candidates will be required to choose to take the examination for one of the programmes. The examination for the other programme can be attempted in the next examination cycle.

Applications will be considered complete only after the supporting documents as per the check list given with the Instructions are received by the University in support of the application.
