Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducting NEET UG 2024 based Counselling for admission to specified seats of MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. Nursing; has published the result of Round 2 allotment at https://mcc.nic.in/ug-medical-counselling/
Those allotted seats can report to the Colleges concerned with original documents as specified in the Information Bulletin & Counselling Scheme available at the website and take admission latest by 27th September, 2024.
Candidates who have been allotted a seat in round 2 and take admission can opt for willingness to upgrade from round 2 to round 3 when physically reporting at the allotted college to take admission.
A candidate who has been upgraded in Round 2 will not have any claim on Round 1 seat.
If a candidate gets an up-graded seat, he/she will have to get online generated relieving letter from the earlier institute/ college (from MCC software - will be given by the college authority), before joining the next college / institution. Without such relieving letter, candidate will not be permitted to join the upgraded seat.
In case upgraded seat is in the same college, because of change of category, (e.g. from SC or ST to UR category) then also, the candidate has to get a relieving letter generated on-line for the earlier seat and then get an admission letter again generated on-line for the upgraded category seat from the concerned institution failing which, the seat will be cancelled.
Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 2 but do not join the allotted seat will get their security deposit forfeited. Security deposit will be forfeited also for those joining and then resigning the seat.
If a candidate freshly registered in round 2 is not allotted a seat, he/she can participate in round 3 directly without fresh registration.
Candidates who registered for Round 1 or Round 2 and did not get any seat allotted are not required to register again for Round 3.
Fresh New Registration (with full payment of fees- Registration and Security) is required for Round 3 for those candidates (i) who have not registered in Round-1 or Round 2 (ii) have Resigned / Not reported in Round-1 or Round 2.
All those taking part in Round 3 have to do ‘Fresh Choice filling’ and Locking of choices.
