Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata has invited applications from motivated students for admission to the two years Master of Science in Chemical Sciences and Mathematical Sciences for Autumn 2022 session.

Eligibility: For admission to M.Sc. programme in Chemistry applicant should hold Bachelor’s degree with Chemistry as a subject for three years, or an equivalent degree with 60% marks/equivalent grades in Honors/Major (if applicable), or 60% marks/equivalent grades in aggregate (if Honors/Major is not applicable). They should have studied Chemistry with Mathematics and Biology/Physics in the undergraduate courses. Applicant should have qualified in JAM (Chemistry) in 2021 or 2022.

For admission to Master of Science in Mathematics those with a B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree with Mathematics as one of the honours/major subjects can apply. Applicant should have scored minimum of 55% marks/equivalent grades in honours/major (if applicable), or 55% marks/equivalent grades in Aggregate (if honours/major is not applicable).

Those who are appearing in the final examination of their degree course can also apply.
