The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala, has commenced the activities related to filling up the vacant seats that exist/arise after the second phase of centralized allotment for admission to Integrated Five Year LL.B. Course in the Government Law Colleges and Private Self- financing Law Colleges for the year 2025-26 at www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

Candidates who are included in the rank list of Integrated Five Year LL.B. Course 2025 published by the CEE and satisfy the eligibility criteria as per clause 9 in the Prospectus can register fresh options for this round. Candidates can also register options to 5 newly added colleges as per the list given in the Notification at the website. Options to some of the new colleges will be considered for allotment only after approval from the Government/Bar Council of India/respective university.

Registration Fee: Candidates who wish to register options in vacant seat allotment round will have to pay registration fees of Rs.1000/- to the CEE. Those who have already paid option registration fees and joined the allotted college or have not been allotted any course need not pay again. Those belonging to SC/ST/OEC category and other categories specified in the Notification, will have to remit Rs.500/- as Registration Fee. Registration fee can be remitted by way of online payment. The registration fee of those candidates who do not get allotment will be refunded. If a candidate gets allotment and does not join within the stipulated time, the option registration fee will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded. Option registration fee of the candidates who quit the seats after taking admission will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded. Refund of option registration fee for the eligible candidates will be made only after the completion of allotment process and it will be notified.

Candidates who get allotment in this phase have to join the allotted college with all the original certificates as given in the prospectus clause 19 within the stipulated time to be announced by the CEE and should remit applicable tuition fee, other fees and the deposits (if applicable) in the allotted colleges at the time of admission.

If a seat is allotted to the candidate in the vacant seat allotment, the existing admission, if any, will stand cancelled and the candidate has to accept the new allotment. If no seat is allotted to the candidate in the vacant seat allotment, the existing admission, if any, will be retained.

Probable vacancies that may occur due to the up-gradations of higher options or category conversions will also be filled up in the vacant seat allotment based on the options for the vacant seat allotment. Hence candidates must take into account probable vacancies also in addition to the real vacancies available at the start of the vacant seat allotment process.

The seats received through vacant seat allotment cannot be changed. Candidates who are allotted a seat in the vacant seat allotment (irrespective of the admission status) will not be eligible for any subsequent allotments.

Candidates already admitted to the course through previous phases of allotment by CEE, if getting an allotment through the Vacant Seat Allotment, the current admission of the candidate will stand cancelled. Hence candidates should register options to only those colleges where they want to study for the course if they get an allotment. Allotment shall be subject to the final order/affiliation/approval of the Govt./Bar Council of India/University concerned.

Options can be registered by 10 am on 22.08.2025. Allotment and Schedule for Joining the institution will be notified later.

Free exit: Candidates admitted to the course through previous phases of allotment by the CEE can avail free exit from the course latest by 5 pm on 21.08.2025. Candidates shall be liable for penalty if they vacate seats or obtain T.C after 5 pm on 21.08.2025.

After the Vacant Seat Allotment, if vacancies exist/arise, these vacancies will be filled through Stray Vacancy Filling Allotment. Notification regarding the same will be issued later.
