School of Lifelong Learning, Centre for Lifelong Learning, Kannur University, Thavakkara, Civil Station P.O., Kannur, Kerala -670002, has invited applications for admission to the Certificate Course in English for Practical Purposes (EPP), offered by the Department of Studies in English, Kannur University, through the School of Lifelong Learning for the academic year 2024-25. 

The course will be conducted at the Student Amenity Centre, Thavakkara campus of the Kannur University.

Duration of the course will be 3 Months (30 hours) with classes on all Saturdays except second Saturdays, and other convenient working days and public holidays, if required. 

Minimum Intake is 30 students and maximum Intake is 50 students.

Eligibility

Applicant should have a Pass in HSE/ Plus Two or Equivalent Course recognised by respective Boards of Govt. of Kerala or Kannur University. Academic eligibility should be satisfied as on the Closing date of online registration. 

Course Fee is Rs. 3,000/-. The course fee must be paid online during registration in a single instalment.

After online registration, Printout of the online application (photograph part self-attested) along with the printout of the fee receipt, Self-attested copy of the SSLC certificate, Self-attested copy of the HSE/Plus Two certificate etc; should be sent to ‘The Director, School of Lifelong Learning, Kannur University, Thavakkara, Civil Station P.O., Kannur-670002’ to reach by 7.12.2024.

Eligible candidates will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis after successful online registration and fee payment. 

In case the minimum intake of 30 is not fulfilled, the certificate course will not be offered by the University this academic year, and the fee paid by the candidates will be refunded in full.
