
Applications have been invited by the Industrial Training Department, working under the Ministry of Labour & Skills, Government of Kerala, for admission to the Industrial Training Institutes (ITI-s) for 2020-21 under various schemes of study.
Admission will be made Government ITIs (i) for Trades that have the NCVT affiliation of the Government of India (ii) for Trades under the SCVT scheme of study (iii) to the Government ITIs which have been declared as Centres of Excellence (CoE) under the scheme of Government of India.
Under the NCVT/ST Schemes, Trade courses of one/two years’ duration are available for those who have passed/failed in SSLC/equivalent examinations. Those who have passed the A level examination of the Literacy Mission are also eligible. Those who have written SSLC as private candidates and failed in the said examination are not eligible.
Under the CoE scheme, those who have passed SSLC/Equivalent examination are eligible for admission to Trades of 2 years duration.
For all the 3 schemes, applicant should have completed 14 years on 1 August 2020. There is no upper age limit.
Application can be submitted online at https://itiadmissions.kerala.gov.in/how.php latest by 5 pm on 24 September 2020.
