Agricultural Education Division, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan-II, Pusa, New Delhi-110 012, has notified the Under Gradate Online Counselling for admission to 20% seats (100% seats at ICAR-NDRI Karnal, ICAR-IARI New Delhi, RLBCAU, Jhansi and Dr. RPCAU, Pusa) in Bachelor Degree Programmes in Agriculture & Allied Science Disciplines at Agricultural Universities (AUs) under the ICAR-AU System through CUET (ICAR-UG)-2023 at https://icaradmission.in/ 

Those who scored zero or negative marks in CUET (ICAR-UG)-2023 are not eligible to participate in counselling. There will be four rounds of counselling and the mop-up round, if needed. Upgradation will be permitted in the first, second and third rounds only. 

ICAR does not allot College to the candidates. It allots university to the candidates, whereas allotment of a constituent college of the university allotted shall be regulated by the university itself. 

Candidate will be required to sign a Declaration and Undertaking at the time of registration for participation in the online counselling process. Registration is to be done by paying non-refundable registration fee of Rs.500/- using Credit Card/RuPay Debit Card/Net banking/UPI. 

Registration for taking part in the online counselling and Choice filling can be done till 11.59 pm on 15th October, 2023. Candidate can update his/her choices any number of times before the last date/until the choices are locked by the candidate. 

Candidate is not required to physically report at the admitting University/Institute during any round of counselling. They would be required to upload all the relevant documents within a stipulated period on the Counselling portal for verification by the concerned Universities/Institutes. The online verification of the documents uploaded by the candidates will be done by the verifying officer of the allotted University/Institute. In case of a doubt regarding the documents, the Document Verifying Officer of the allotted University/Institute will raise a query to the candidate, against which, the candidate can respond through her/his login. This interaction between the Document Verifying Officer and the candidate can occur only once. 

Once the uploaded documents have been found and marked ‘Verified’ by the University/Institute, candidate will be required to pay the non-refundable Seat Acceptance Fee of Rs. 10,000/- across the board, irrespective of category, on the ICAR’s Counselling portal. After confirmation of receipt of Seat Acceptance Fee, the University/Institute will mark the candidate as ‘Provisionally Admitted’.

The candidate may opt for ‘Upgradation’ after depositing the Seat Acceptance Fee.
