Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management, Coimbatore, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, providing comprehensive Education, Training, Consultancy and Research in Textile Management, has invited applications for admission to various Programs to be conducted in collaboration with Central University of Tamilnadu (CUTN).

Courses offered and eligibility are as follows: There are 2 Full time BSc Programs of 3-year duration.

For admission to B.Sc. Textiles and B.Sc. Technical Textiles, applicant should have a Pass in Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India with science stream/vocational stream with textile subjects having 50% marks (45% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates).

For admission to BBA Textile Business Analytics, applicant should have a Pass in Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India (any stream) with 50% marks (45% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates).

MBA: Textile Management, Apparel Management, Retail Management, Technical Textile Management (2 years’ Full time): A Graduate from any discipline recognized by UGC/AICTE with a minimum of 15 years (10 + 2 + 3 / 4) of education and with a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% marks for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates at graduate level.

Students are admitted to the above courses through SVP Entrance Test to be conducted by SVPISTM on 23rd March 2022 or CUCET conducted by CUTN.

SVP Entrance Test is an online test of one-hour duration having 50 MCQs for both UG & PG courses.

Syllabus: B.Sc Textiles & B.Sc. Technical Textiles: UGQP01 - Part A - English, General Knowledge, Numerical Ability; Part B - Multiple choice questions from plus two Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology syllabus.

BBA Textile Business Analytics: UGQP02- English, Numerical Aptitude / Data Interpretation, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, General Aptitude, and General Knowledge.

Master in Business Administration: PGQP01- English/Verbal Ability, Maths/Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning.

Application Fee: Application fee for General/OBC candidates is Rs.500/-. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from payment of application fee. Application fee can be paid through online and the transaction details should be furnished in the application form. Candidate can apply more than one course with one-time payment.

Applicants are required to fill all the information in their own handwriting.
