The Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council—Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (BRIC-RGCB), Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram-695014—has invited applications for admission to the MSc Program in Biotechnology 2025-27.

The program, conducted in a research environment, covers the fundamental fields of theories in biotechnology while focusing on laboratory exercises and industrial as well as research applications. This programme is expected to feed into the PhD programme of BRIC-RGCB and other national institutes in India and abroad, encouraging the students to take up further studies that lead to a career in scientific research, development, innovation, and teaching. The students are also introduced to the concepts of "Enterprise and Entrepreneurship". This allows students to choose a career beyond the laboratory in an existing biotechnology industry or start a new biotechnology enterprise. Students get trained in a real business & technology development bio-incubator where 'start-up companies' function.
